London 2012 Olympics: Living The Games Diary #9 – Friday Foto

The games are nearing an end.  My time as a gamesmaker volunteer finished on Tuesday, and I have been and will be in spectator mode until Saturday.  Sunday I plan on watching the closing ceremony from my sofa – in the comfort of my own home, and off my feet.  I have clocked so many miles and so much time on my feet it will be nice to put them up for a change!

Although The Games end on Sunday, I have about three more blog posts to write so the series will continue next week – I will be writing about my visit to the Olympic Village, sharing my favourite moments from working with the crowds (including some great photos of spectators I’ve seen while out on the cycling and triathlon courses) and finally I plan to share a little about *my* experience as a spectator.  In September I will resume posts about London 2012 with a few on the Paralympics.

Today’s Friday Foto is of the Olympic Stadium at sunset last night.  Perfect as we approach the sunset of the 2012 Olympics.
